Firt Post

This is my first post! I decided to start a blog so my family and friends can keep up with that I am working on.
I just finished my 2nd quilt...finally. I started in late August. I had to stop working on it during our move. Hand sewing the blind hem on the binding is what took the most time.
I got the pattern out of a quilting magazine (can't remember which one).

I have another quilt I just finished quilting. The quilt top was given to me by my mom. A couple of women hand piece it and gave it to her when she was young. We thing the top is about 50 yrs old. I will post pictures as soon as I take them.

I also just learned how to hand quilt and I am slowly working on another quilt that was had pieced by one of my great aunts. It is also around 40-45 yrs old. I will start posting photos so you can keep up on my progress (this is going to take me a while).

Well, that's it for my first post. I am still trying to figure out how to use blogger. It is very confusing.....
